PREMIER RACE NIGHT OF GROUP 1 RACING

Group 2 Delightful Lady Classic 2yo Fillies $60,000

Chevron Bypass - Maurice McKendry, Race 4, No 7 at 6:56 pm

Chevron Bypass - Stuck on ok when being out in front. She was quite green in front so she will take a lot of benefit from the experience. She is still on the way up this filly and is just starting to physically develop into a racehorse. The wide draw makes it tough but she will be put in the race and have her chance.

Mitsi Gaynor - Todd Mitchell, Race 4, No 9 at 6:56 pm

Mitsi Gaynor - Did not receive all favours in the running last start but it was a game effort to stick on. The one on the second-row barrier draw for this may not be too bad as she will not have to cover any extra ground. She is definitely good enough to run in the money she will just require some racing room.

Group 1 Young Guns Cardigan Bay Stakes 2yo Colts & Geldings $95,000

Casino Action - Todd Mitchell, Race 6, No 3 at 7:56 pm

Casino Action - Has received terrible trips in transit in his last two starts but in saying that he has still been disappointing. We have changed things up with him at home and he seems to be enjoying it. Is in a good zone right now and the draw will allow him to settle handy. If he brings his best he is a big hope.

Group 1 Great Northern Derby 3yo $200,000

Alta Sensation - John Dunn, Race 7, No 2 at 8:27 pm

Alta Sensation - Stoked with his well-deserved win last, it was a great run. He is still on the improve so we have decided to throw him in with the big boys. We know he will handle this grade but the 2700m is a big test. Comes up with a great draw of barrier 2 and he does have gate speed to use. So he should land himself in a good spot and run a solid race.

Krug - Tony Herlihy, Race 7, No 5 at 8:27 pm

Krug - Back to his best last week when winning nicely. Suited being driven more aggressively. Barrier 5 we will take and it will be up to Tony what he does from there. You will still see improvement from him and we believe he will handle the longer distance of 2700m well. He is very well in himself at home so all we need now in these big races is some luck in the running.

Addington Harness - Friday 5th March

Addington Raceway - Friday 5th March

Twilight Bromac - Sarah O Reilly, Race 1, No 2 at 3:11 pm

Twilight Bromac - Might have been driven just a touch aggressive last start so was entitled to fade. Coming up with no2 in this will suit as he will not need to fight for a position. Tends to race better when driven with one run at them so that may be his best chance at running a hole in this.

Cheviot Harness - Sunday 7th March

Cheviot Harness @ Addington Raceway - Sunday 7th March

Trixton Time - Sarah O Reilly, Race 1, No 1 at 12:20 pm

Trixton Time - Put a line through his first-up run. He has been training well at home this guy we are just hoping for a clean beginning so he can land himself into a handy position. So hopefully he does that as he tries hard every time and will be in the finish.

Chloe Rose - Sarah O Reilly, Race 4, No 6 at 1:37 pm

Chloe Rose - Ok effort last start when receiving a great trip throughout so she had no excuses. Would like to think she will step away as touch wood her gait is nice. On her work at home she would want to be in the finish we just need the right version of her to turn up on race day.

Invaluable - Sarah O Reilly, Race 7, No 6 at 2:55 pm

Invaluable - Honest customer that is copping tough fields most weeks. This is a nice race and he does seem to suit being driven with one run so that could be an option. Couple of nice ones in there but he will try his best like he always does.
