A perfect three from three at Addington on Thursday night showed what great hands the Kentuckiana Lodge team are in.

Cran and Chrissie and Dalgety had their feet up while sipping on long island iced teas in America as they produced a winning treble with Sweet Coco, Ohoka Le Bron and Spirit Of Anarchy.

While the bosses are away, the team are in the very capable hands of Carter Dalgety and Murray Howard and Thursday night’s results showed just how capable those hands are.

Spirit Of Anarchy rounded out the Kentuckiana treble when showing incredible speed to win fresh up from barrier 8.

The two-year-old endured a luckless first campaign and that luck hasn’t changed yet as he settled last after copping a tough draw.

But it didn’t matter when Spirit Of Anarchy turned on his afterburners to score.

“Down the back I was thinking he would have to wait for next week,” Carter said.

“But when I asked him to go he just showed that much speed.”

“He’s got a beautiful attitude, he just flops along, but not many have the speed to do what he did on his own, especially fresh up.”

“He is an exciting horse.”

“We will look for another race for him in the next two to three weeks.”

“He’s going to race on to get a bit of ringcraft which will come in handy when the bigger races come along later in the season.”

Ohoka Le Bron also showed brilliant speed to pick up his rivals to win.

The victory showed how the three-year-old has transformed into the complete package after starting his career as a very headstrong individual.

“He showed real speed to quicken out of a tight gap and put a good margin on them at the finish,” Carter said.

“He was very headstrong early, he set up a New Zealand record in his first start on Cup Day.”

“The ability has always been there and now he has turned into a true professional.”

“To see him relax away on the pegs and sprint like he did was very satisfying.”

Thursday night’s treble included another win from the classy filly Sweet Coco.

The two-year-old signed off a very successful first campaign with another win over older rivals.

“She only qualified this time in, she’s done an outstanding job,” Carter said.

“It is exciting to think she should only come back better after having a break.”

“We will be looking to get her ready for a Nevele R heat later when she gets back.”

All three Kentuckiana winners were expertly handed by Carter who kept up his outstanding strike rate in the sulky this season with his winning treble.
