Smart 4yo Sweet Lou gelding Fabrizio returned to form with a dominant win in Saturday's 2020 Tyre General Timaru Summer Cup in the hands of the country's leading driver Blair Orange.

Away safely from the front taps, Fabrizio stayed out of the early burn before Orange was able to roll to the front. From there on the duo dictated the pace and dashed home in a quick 57.5 last half.

That was Fabrizio's 7th career victory from just the 20 starts and is a return to form after a recent trip to Auckland which didn't quite go to plan and two below-par efforts during Cup Week.

Stablemate Bettathanfast stuck on well for 4= after sitting parked for a majority of the event.

Invaluable locked wheels on the final bend losing his chance.
