Former Kentuckiana Lodge stable runner Shineonucrazydiamond is still kicking as strong as every racing in America. The son of Somebeachsomewhere won his 24th race start on Saturday at Freehold Raceway in New Jersey. The now 7yo gelding put on a dominant showing when charging out of the 2 post to take the lead and stay there throughout the journey. Being rated perfectly in front by driver Daniel Dude, the pair were too good to win in a time of 1:55.0 for the mile.
It was Shineonucrazydiamond’s 24thcareer victory and took his stake earnings to over $380,000. Also, remarkably the horse has had 34 placings along the way in his racing career.
Shineonucrazydiamond was purchased by Kentuckiana Lodge at the 2014 Yearling Sales and raced in the stable for a solid three seasons. He gained the status of Mr Consistent in the barn as he won three races and placed a further 11 times for his Kentuckiana Lodge owners.
