Kentuckiana Lodge star Krug will start from the coveted ace draw of barrier 1 in the A$250,000 The Rising Sun at Albion Park on Saturday night.
The Cran and Chrissie Dalgety trained colt was always going to draw barrier 1 or 2 in the inaugural running of the rich feature.
When fellow fellow three-year-old Kashed Up took barrier 2 to kick off Monday night's draw the team from Kentuckiana Lodge knew Krug had sealed the perfect starting spot.
