After a couple of quiet weeks, the Kentuckiana Lodge Racing Team will fire back into gear this week with six runners spread over the two meetings (Timaru HRC & Motukarara - Banks Peninsula TC).
Trevor Beaton's Duo of Invaluable (Race 7 - No9) and Admirable (Race 10 - No8) both look to hold the key to their races, being the highest rated runners in both of their events. Admirable particularly looks well placed in Race 10 - Sliver Ferns Farm Mobile Pace, where despite drawing the widest barrier he comes into the race under the conditions of having won just the one race. Both runners are to be driven by Blair Orange
The Timaru Cup has been rewarded with a smart and even field of 9 for their Tyre General Timaru Cup and we'll line up two runners, (2) Fabrizio - Blair Orange & (6) Bettathanfast - Sarah O'Reilly.
While their form lines don't look too sharp, they're better than they look on paper and it's sure to be a competitive race up against Robert Dunn's two charges (4) Jay Tee Tyron & (5) Franco Niven as well as Regan Todd's representation of (1) Cheezel & (9) The Alexander Guy.
Kentuckiana Lodge Staff Member Kimberly Butt also has a drive in the Cup, she's aboard (3) Sagano for Jonny Cox.
On Sunday at Motukarara, Taurus Bromac (Race 4 - No9) will make his debut in the hands of Sarah O'Reilly while Pink Flamingo Run (Race 11 - No8) returns to the races and won't be hard to spot in the bright pink colors of Chanelle Dickie.
